Event Details
This is the fourth year that Neo-Soul has sent a team to the NPS
and in this short time we have established ourselves as a national power. In
our inaugural NPS in 2006 we earned our way to the Final Stage and finished 2nd
in the Nation; in 2007 we made the semifinal round and finished 20th
place; and last year we made the semifinal round and finished 14th
in the Nation (while being ranked as high as #5 going into the semis). This
year’s team is proud to follow in the footsteps of these great teams and is
poised to blaze its own poetic path. To help us reach our goal of being the
best, we need your help with our travel costs. We estimate our travel (five team
members) and lodging (a minimum of two rooms for 7 nights) expenses for the
2009 NPS to be $2,930 for the week long competition. Each team member will be
responsible for covering their cost for meals and NPS individual and team
registrations. We are accepting donations at the following sponsorship levels:
